I specialise in the numerical modeling and simulation of microstructure formation and evolution of metals and alloys,
for example dendritic growth, bubble formation and particle pushing during solidification and remelting of metals and alloys.
I am also interested in the development of lattice Boltzmann method (LBM),
phase field method (PFM), immersed-boundary method (IBM), Cellular Automaton (CA) Method,
and their applications in materials science and manufacturing engineering.

Currently, I do not have grants for PhD students. But, I am always looking for enthusiastic, energetic and talented students to join us as PhD Candidates. The PhD Candidates can work on our ongoing projects or establish their own research projects with the support of Southeast University, and facilities of my collaborators around the world.
